The Butte County Sobering Center, located in Chico, CA, provides drug, alcohol, and support services. It is a 12- bed co-ed facility—staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our sobering unit was specifically designed to assist those needing immediate sobering services. Your stay is voluntary, and you can stay up to 23 hours and 59 minutes. If you’d like to continue to another level of treatment, we can help with that. It’s not a requirement, and there is no pressure.
This program is an alternative to incarceration or hospitalization for individuals under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
